Campsite near Lorient: the Scorff valley will be
your favourite playground

Between Lorient and Pont-Scorff, the river: the Scorff can also be discovered by canoe or kayak. Enjoy exceptional places during weekends and short stays in Brittany all year round. Discover l’île de Groix, Belle île or the Morbihan Bay.

Kitesurfing, motorboat or sailboat rentals, canoes and kayaks, catamarans, surfing, long boards, body boarding, if you are a fan of these board sports, you will be happy!
The Atlantic has a good reputation regarding it: it is an ocean that takes your hair off!

Welcome to a hiker’s paradise! The Scorff valley offers numerous hiking trails: Pont-Scorff, Quéven, Cléguer, Gestel, … The paths cross the neighbouring communes to follow the river.

A little further on, the river Blavet flows into the harbour of Lorient like the Scorff. This river has been channelled and the towpath which runs alongside it as far as Pontivy is accessible to bicycles, … There is also, many paths crossing in this valley du Blavet.

Brittany as guest of honour

The Lorient Interceltic festival is one of the highlights of the summer in the Lorient region! For 10 days, we speak, we dance, we eat Celtic in an incredible atmosphere.

Take advantages of the bus stop in front of the campsite and the sale of tickets at the snack bar.

Return by Fil’bus in the evening to the Festival stop at about 3am for the last one.

Several information meetings on arrival at the campsite to find out all about the timetables!

During the Interceltic Festival, cars are not allowed to circulate in the campsite (except the first and the last day of your stay and special cases). Cars are invited to stay in the car park at the reception.

Our tips for enjoying the festival

Even if you do not know anything about Celtic culture, you feel a bit at home. It is inexplicable. The simplicity and generosity of the people perhaps!

Do not forget to check out the program and our tips:

  • If it is your first edition, treat yourself to an interceltic night: a 2h30 show for the whole family with more than 500 participants, light shows, … The Great Parade on the 1st Sunday where all the Celtic nations parade through the streets of the city!
  • The Fest Noz at the Salle Carnot (9.30pm)
  • The festival badge, sold for 5€ at the reception of the Ty Nénez campsite in Pont-Scorff and at the Lorient tourist office, gives you access to the fest-noz of the Carnot Hall, to the Quai des Pays Celtes, to the auditorium of the cercle Saint-Louis, …
